
The fish rots from the head down. Manuel Adorni’s stubbornness isn’t surprising at all. That’s one of President Javier Milei’s main traits too. Like father, like son. Is there a libertarian caste, I wonder? Are all of us at the mercy of his narrow (and narrow-minded) inner circle? Can’t they just pay attention to the growing public discontent? They are running out of time, and so are we. Milei’s popularity has been visibly declining, and so has the confidence in the current administration. Many people I know now regret having voted for him. Isn’t he aware of all this? Is he so detached from us, the people, that he doesn’t realize our discontent? Does he care? Has he become a prisoner of his own alternate reality, his ivory tower, and fails to see the real world? We seem to be missing another chance. A real shame. Sigh …
