This week, we’ve felt the whole planet is in danger. The Klyuchevskoy volcano erupted in Kamchatka, Russia. There was also a 6.4 magnitude earthquake near Severo-Kuril’sk, Sakhalin, Russia. There were tsunami warnings across the Pacific, including the United State West Coast and some Latin America countries, forcing coastal evacuation. Nature seems to be taking revenge on humans. Is it striking back at us, lousy and careless (temporary) tenants? We may not be responsible for earthquakes, volcano eruptions or tsunamis, but we certainly are to blame for droughts, floods, heatwaves and climate change in general, due to massive deforestation. It’s unbelievable that some prominent world leaders still deny climate change, global warming and don’t mind damaging the environment or increasing the greenhouse effect. It’s high time they did, before it’s too late.
