Alberto Fernández’s administration was one of the worst ones ever. The never-ending Covid lockdown was a real nightmare for all of us. Well, all except for him, who (we now know) had a very good time, hanging out with friends and lovers. But karma has no menu: you get served what you deserve. Now the former president is getting a dose of his own medicine. He only leaves his “borrowed” flat to appear in court “as an indicted witness under framework of investigation into alleged corruption scheme involving contracting of state insurance policies.” We saw him last Wednesday. He certainly looks older than his age, 65. I certainly wouldn’t like to be in his shoes. So many charges against him; so much discredit, such a “fall from grace.” He has lost all power and influence. Everybody’s left him all alone. We are witnessing the disgraceful collapse of a bad and irresponsible leader.
