Argentine politicians aspiring to become our next President seem to be practicing “polyamory”. Those who used to hate each other and said it openly, have now become best friends. These forced or arranged “marriages” are so hard to believe, though. Only yesterday they behaved like Montagues and Capulets; now, they are buddies. They switch alliances and parties just like that, taking advantage of our bad memory. Their greed for power is plainly obscene. They remind me of Carly Simon’s song: “You’re so vain…” Hard time for us, voters, to trust any of them. The “dark room” will be darker than ever this year. Let’s take a torch with us, just in case. Sigh.
