I find President Milei’s frequent insults unacceptable in a leader. He has called Colombian President Gustavo Petro a “murdering terrorist,” Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s wife “corrupt,” and has said Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador was “ignorant.” Last year he attacked Pope Francis, calling him “an imbecile who defends social justice.” He’s openly hostile towards certain local journalists and economists who don’t see eye to eye with him. Doesn’t he realize his aggressiveness and violent verbal attacks harm him more than his targets? As citizens, we are all making a huge effort to stay alive and make ends meet. We don’t need more bullying or intimidation. Destructive criticism doesn’t help at all. Someone like him, who claims to favour freedom above anything else, should be more stable, level-headed, cautious and open-minded.
