We were starving for it! At last, Buenos Aires Book Fair is back, with its 46th edition! Such a popular event, such a necessary one too. Personally, I’ve had the privilege of meeting there some awesome writers, face to face. One of them, Ray Bradbury, telling his life story in an informal, nonchallant manner, sitting casually on a desk (like Robin Williams in “Dead Poets’ Society). Or Indra Devi, the First Lady of Yoga, such a warm human being. Mario Vargas Llosa, whose books I read as a teenager; Julián Marías, the Spanish philosopher, and so many others. Apart from browsing around and buying a couple of books, I feel this encounter with such admired people is the most valuable gift we can get. Happier than kids with new toys!
