Milei called Vicepresident Victoria Villarruel a “brute traitor” last Tuesday evening at “La Derecha Fest” in Córdoba, where he looked and acted like a rock star. Furthermore, he has often accused her of being “closer to the caste”. He has posted on X: “Rome does not pay traitors”. By “traitors” he probably means anybody who doesn’t see eye to eye with him. During a Tedeum ceremony at the Metropolitan Cathedral on May 25, Milei refused to greet Villarruel and Jorge Macri. His bad manners and foul language are appalling. He never misses an opportunity to be rude and offensive. Another one of his favorite slogans: “We don’t hate journalists enough”. Thus, he’s attacking press freedom, in spite of calling himself a libertarian. His discourse is quite scary. Instead of “La Derecha Fest”, the Córdoba event should have been called “Hate Fest”, because Milei exudes hatred, same as his fans. His broken relationship with Victoria Villarruel reminds me of “The War of The Roses” and their vicious divorce battle. Pity this “war” is not fictional.
