“All the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand”, moans a distressed Lady Macbeth, staring at her blood-stained hands in Shakespeare’s tragedy. Now, when Guillermo Moreno accused the Clarín journalists (American Embassy, July 4th), did he have this dramatic scene in mind? By the way, does all the K Cabinet have their hands clean? And why is the Secretary of Commerce always in such a bad mood in public? What’s wrong with him? Why this urge to treat everybody so disrespectfully? No manners at all? Doesn’t he realize that he can’t possibly be taken seriously if he behaves in such a rude way? Why does he have to shout all the time, as if we were all deaf? Come to think of it, our President and Moreno could form a nice duet. Paraphrasing a Beatles’ hit, their band could be called “Twits & Shouts”, in-keeping with their favourite pastimes.
