Sergio Massa has been Argentina’s Minister of Economy for a year now. Has he been successful? Not at all. Has he been able to lower inflation or stop increasing prices? Not in the least. So, the one-million-dollar question is: why on earth is he running for president? Don’t kirchnerists have a better candidate? Why should we believe that he’ll do better as president? Is it wise to trust a wolf to guard the sheep? Dady Brieva’s words come to mind: “If Cristina (Kirchner) tells us we should vote for “Piñón Fijo”, I’ll do so”. That seems to explain everything, doesn’t it? Blind obedience.
